Local Honey-revised

We get it from Reisinger Apiaries in Emmett. It’s also called Fit to Eat Brand Honey in the stores. They deliver, and if you wash and save the containers they will refill them for about a dollar less per container than new ones so that helps a lot.
This honey is raw though it doesn’t say it on the label. It is also clean–no bee parts to speak of.
There is a health benefit to raw, local honey. It is said to help with allergies and in maintaining good health.
Contact info: 208-365-4525 The lady’s name is Janice Reisinger

3 lb quart is $6.50 ($2.17/lb)

5 lb jug is $11.00 ($2.20/lb)

42 lb bucket is $75-78 ($1.79-$1.86)

All the best,  jen

I bought local honey at Stonehenge produce on Fairview and Cloverdale for $3.20/lb. Bountiful Baskets has it lately for $2.50/lb. It’s raw! They are sporadic though so you can’t always count on them carrying it.

I tried emailing her but it came back to me. I’ll try calling instead.

I got their new email, see above. Just the domain changed at the end.
The honey from Reisinger is also raw–and costs less.
    Hope the new info helps.
